DESCRIPTION:The doors to the FDC will be open at 9am\, so please come early to get your social time in before the meeting begins at 10:00am.  \n\n\n\nThere will be a mini fabric sale\, so come early to get something for your stash. \n\n\n\nBefore the meeting\, see the following people as you settle in: \n\n\n\nVisiting guild – Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma will be selling tickets for their Opp Quilt Fat Quarter Exchange / Evelyn – prints requestedBOM Blocks / Mary – Sunshine Stars to turn in Opp Quilt ’22 Tickets / Kris – pick up your tickets before or after the meeting2022 Member Directory booklet / Marci \n\n\n\nDon’t forget your Show & Tell items to share. Please find the agenda (in the Downloads page) to print out and bring with you. \n\n\n\nThose registered for the Exploding Heart Class\, bring your gear so we can get started on part 1 of the class after the meeting and rearranging the room. \n\n\n\nWe will not be having a guild-wide lunch\, but something will be provided to the class participants during the room changeover at noon.

SUMMARY:"Exploding Heart" Quilt Class (Part 1) (after the May 2022 General Meeting)
DESCRIPTION:If you have been on Pinterest or FB in in the past year it is likely you have seen this pattern by Laura Piland of “Slice of Pi Designs.” She is seeing great success – partnered now with FreeSpirit Fabrics for kits with Kaffe Fassett Collective\, and also with Missouri Star\, who did a tutorial recently. This will be our class for May 2022. This will be a multiple session class. Both sessions are necessary for the class\, plus a bit of “homework” beforehand so we can all progress together. \nSessions will be:\nMay 7th from 12-3pm (AFTER the General meeting)\nMay 21st from 9am to 3pm \nFee is $15 for members and includes pattern. \nBONUS!!!! The pattern size has been adapted for this class and I will be showing it in two sizes: the usual 72×72 or a smaller 45×45. (Jenny Doan can’t give you that…)
