SUMMARY:Kim Brownell's "Sunrise / Sunset" Quilted Jigsaw Puzzle Technique ($25)
DESCRIPTION:Kim Brownell\, the Wacky Doodle Quilter\, will be showing us her Quilted Jigsaw Puzzle Technique in the “Sunrise/Sunset” pattern. We will be making this 22″ x 26” wall hanging. It is very much like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle. A raw-edge fusible applique is used leaving a negative space between each piece\, making a wonderful stained glass look. This is a fun class for both beginner and experienced quilters.\n \nFee: $25 for Members\, $30 for non-members.\n \nEach participant will also need to purchase her $25 kit on the day of class. Each kit includes her paper pattern\, the pre-traced black background\, and fusible web.\n \nYou will need to bring a variety of fabrics in the colors you want for the sky\, sun\, and water sections. It’s a great stashbuster for sure!\n \nAlso needed are a pair of sharp scissors for fussy cutting\, you iron/pressing mat\, an ultra-fine Sharpie\, and glue for tacking down your fabrics (Roxanne Baste It Glue is preferred because of the needle-like barrel for exact placement in thin lines.)\n \nNo sewing will be done in class\, so there is no need to bring your machine.
