SUMMARY:Baby Quilt Relay
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Outreach Relay for baby quilts will be held on Saturday\, February 15 at the FDC. Come help the regular Wednesday group sew and complete the baby quilts. The doors of the FDC will open at 8:30 am for set up. Join us anytime until we close at 3:00 pm.  \n\n\n\nThere will be kits on hand. If you don’t want to sew\, there are other steps in the process that you can help with. These include pressing the fabric\, pinning\, sewing around the edges (inside out)\, turning out\, topstitching\, tying with yarn\, and sewing labels on. We will have 2-3 ironing boards and irons set up. Bring your machines and cords and white or beige thread to sew with. We will have some straight pins\, but you can bring your own\, if you prefer. Those who wish to tie should bring a large eye needle\, curved needle\, or upholstery needle. We will have only a few on hand. We have yarn for tying.  \n\n\n\nLunch and Desserts will be provided.
