Baby Quilt Relay 2026
February 21 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Our annual Community Outreach Relay for baby quilts will be held on Saturday, February 21 at the FDC. Come help the Community Outreach Wednesday Group sew and complete the baby quilts. The doors of the Florence Douglas Center will open at 8:30 am for set up. Join us anytime until we close at 3:00 pm.

There will be kits on hand. If you don’t want to sew, there are other steps in the process that you can help with:
• Pressing the fabric
• Sandwiching tops with batting and backing
• Pinning
• Sewing around the edges (inside out)
• Turning out
• Tying with yarn
• Topstitching
• Sewing labels on
We will have 2-3 ironing boards and irons set up. Bring your machines and cords and white or beige thread to sew with. We will have some straight pins, but you can bring your own, if you prefer. Those who wish to tie should bring a large eye needle, curved needle, or upholstery needle. We will have only a few on hand. We have yarn for tying.

Lunch and Desserts will be provided. Bring your own beverages.
We hope to see you there for fun, fellowship, and a few prizes!
