2022 Solano County Fair – Competition Entries DEADLINE

April 20, 2022 All day

Hello Piecemakers! This email is in regard to Fair competition entries only. Our Fair Liaison Chair Linda will have more information about our display and volunteers coming soon! I will send a reminder of this deadline closer to the date, but just know the earlier you make your entries the less likely you will make any mistakes. It’s science!

The purpose of this email is to help walk you through the process of entering your quilts into the fair. Pay close attention to the highlighted sections regarding quilt sleeves and acknowledging your LAQs if you use one!

The Solano County Fair is back in person this year. Entries need to be made online, paid online, and photos submitted online by May 20, 2022.

Items are then dropped off in person at the fairgrounds on 6/3 or 6/4 (see below.)

Go to www.scfair.com and click on the right on blue box “2022 Solano County Fair”

Click on green bar “Enter Online Here”

You will need to create an account first online.

If you entered last year you will need to recreate an account – it does not carry over from year to year.

There are two types of accounts: individual or group so choose accordingly.

Once you create your account you can enter your items. Note that the entry description limits you to 60 characters. You will need to load a photo; there is a maximum file size of 1MB. File types accepted are PDF, JPG, BMP. If your file is too large, you will need to use an editing program to reduce its size and try uploading again.

Good luck everyone!
